Tool Box Talk Meeting Responsibility:- In many places at the site, I have seen that Toolbox talk is being conducted only by the Safety Officer but the work supervisor is not available or he is just listening and not speaking at that moment, its a propaganda of the execution that it only Safety Officer responded to conduct Toolbox talk, It’s completely wrong.
The supervisor must conduct the TBT before starting each shift or starting any new activity at the site, he will explain the work to be done, which tools and equipment will be used, and hazards associated with the activity along with PPE and other precautions required to take.
The Safety Officer should ensure that TBT is conducted and may be taken apart after the Supervisor finishes their talk.
Benefits of Work Supervisor involvement in Toolbox talk:-
The supervisor knows better about the work to be done and associated hazards and may elaborate well.
Working crew pay more attention to their supervisor’s instructions
- Better line connection among the working crew and a better-disciplined environment.
टूल बॉक्स टॉक किसे कराना चाहिए, वर्क सुपरवाइजर या सेफ्टी अफिसर ?
बहूत सारे साइट्स पर मैंने देखा है के टूल बॉक्स टॉक सिर्फ सेफ्टी अफ़िसर ही करवाते हैं, लेकिन वर्क सुपरवाइसर या तो वहाँ पर होते नहीं हैं या सिर्फ मूकदर्शक बनकर खड़े रहते हैं और कुछ बोल्ते नहीं हैं, ये एक्सेक्यूशन टीम का प्रोपेगंडा हो गया है के टूलबॉक्स टॉक करवाना सिर्फ सेफ्टी की ज़िम्मेदारी है जो के सरासर गलत है और बेबुनियाद है, कैसे वो मैं आपको नीचे बताता हूँ,
वर्क सुपरवाइजर को टूलबॉक्स टॉक ज़रूर करवाना चाहिए उन्हें, जब भी शिफ्ट स्टार्ट हो या कोई नया काम शुरू करने से ठीक पहले। उसे सही से बताना चाहिये के क्या काम करना है , लोकेशन बताना चाहिए, कौनसा सामान और उपकरण को इस्तेमाल करना पडेगा और इस काम से रिलेटेड खतरा क्या है और उसका कण्ट्रोल क्या होगा।
और सेफ्टी ऑफ़िसर को सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए के टूलबॉक्स टॉक किया जा रहा है और सुपरवाइजर के बोलने के बाद वो चाहे तो साइट कंडीशन के हिसाब से आख्रिर में कुछ सेफ्टी से रिलेटेड बोलना चाहिए।

वर्कर्स अपने सुपरवाइजर के निर्देशों पर अधिक ध्यान देते हैं और ध्यान से सुनते हैं।
वर्कर्स अपने सुपरवाइजर के बीच अच्छा लाइन कनेक्शन होता है और वो अनुशासित रहते हैं।
